Normal in November

Will November be "normal"? As David Hill explains here http://http://thehill.com/david-hill/whats-normal-in-november-2008-04-22.html this year's elections seems to be shaping up to be the most normal election (meaning the outcome will likely be more influenced by long-term factors such as party identification rather than short-term influences such as hot topics or citizens voting against the incumbent, etc.) in a while. Then again, who knows what issues might suddenly become hot or what outlandish scandal may be uncovered about a candidate. Normal in November will depend on April-October.
